1. Data we collect
When you book, fill a form, or contact us on WhatsApp or email, we may receive:
- Name, WhatsApp/phone number, and email address
- Trip details: route, date, time, guest count
- Other passenger names you enter on the form
- WhatsApp or email conversation content with us
- Payment data required by the gateway (we do not store card numbers)
The site also uses browser storage (session/local storage) to hold a checkout draft and ticket codes on your device.
2. How data is used
- To process and confirm bookings
- To send e-tickets, invoices, or reminders on WhatsApp/email
- To contact you if a boat time changes because of weather
- To answer questions and improve the service
- With your consent, to measure website usage, booking attribution, and advertising performance
- To meet applicable legal duties
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
3. Storage & sharing
Data is kept only as long as needed to complete the trip and administration. We may share only what is needed with:
- Boat operators, drivers, or transfer partners running the route
- WhatsApp (Meta) when you chat to our number
- Email providers and, later, a payment gateway
- Authorities if the law requires it
The site is hosted with our cloud provider. Staff access is limited to people who handle bookings.
4. Cookies & browser storage
We use essential browser storage so ticket search and checkout work. With your permission, we may also use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads measurement to understand website use, attribute bookings, and improve advertising. Optional analytics and advertising storage is denied until you choose to accept it. You can reject optional storage and can delete site data in your browser settings.
5. Your rights
Under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law 27/2022), you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold, as long as that does not conflict with a duty to keep transaction records. Send a request to info@gilimove.com or WhatsApp +62 823-4066-4711.
6. Children
Bookings for children are made by a parent or guardian. Do not send more child data than is needed for the ticket.
7. Policy changes
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Bookings already in progress follow the version in force at confirmation, unless the law requires otherwise.
